Commissions are OPEN

Ordering & quotes

  • Yes, our commissions are open right now. The live badge at the top of this page, on our main page, and in our social bios always shows the current status.
  • When we are open, just message us.

  • Starting prices: Protogen heads from €2,499, toony and semirealistic heads from €1,699, fursuit parts from €79, DIY Protogen kits from €399, 3D bases and visors from €99, printed accessories from €10, and sprays from €15. Full breakdown on our pricing page.
  • These are base prices. The final price depends on materials and complexity, and you get the exact number in your free quote before anything is made.

  • We do not stock premade heads. Right now we have many custom commissions, so we have no time to make premades for sale.
  • Every Protogen is now custom commission only, from €2,499.
  • Send us a message and we will start with a free quote.

  • Yes. Our public Trello board lists dozens of our customers, many with their contact, so you can ask them directly about their experience with us.
  • You can also see finished work in our gallery.

  • Your reference sheet, the commission type and any special requests.
  • No reference sheet? We can design your character from scratch with you.
  • Quotes are free and come with a price and timeline estimate.

  • A good reference sheet shows the front, back and side views in high resolution, with clean lines and ideally no shading or gradients.
  • Show or describe everything you want made: handpaws, feetpaws, tail and armsleeves. Toony and semirealistic heads also need the teeth, tongue and ears.
  • AI generated references are not accepted.

  • Yes. With no reference sheet, or if you give us artistic liberty, we create your character from scratch with you.
  • Mention it in your first message and we will plan the design together.

  • Not yet. A quote is valid for 1 month and does not reserve a production slot by itself.
  • Your slot is confirmed once we receive your first payment, and you are added to our public Trello queue.

  • Read our TOS, prepare a clean reference sheet, contact us, and confirm with a 30% deposit.
  • Once we receive your first payment, we add you to our public Trello queue.
  • Full step by step guide on our How to commission page.

  • Yes, we are happy to make a fursuit or Protogen as a gift, and we can plan it with you to keep it a surprise.

  • Several months depending on commission size and our current queue.
  • You will receive an estimated completion time with your free quote.
  • Sending your references and info on time keeps your commission on schedule.

  • Yes, through a parent or legal guardian.
  • They commission on your behalf as the contracting party and handle all payments and shipping.

  • English and Czech. Use whichever is easier for you, on any of our channels.
  • We answer every message within 24 hours.

Payments & policies

  • We accept Revolut, Wise and bank transfer. PayPal only in exceptional cases, by prior arrangement.
  • All payments are calculated in EUR. If you pay in another currency (for example USD), the amount must equal the EUR value at the time of payment.

  • Yes. After the 30% deposit, the remaining balance can be paid in flexible installments.
  • Installments do not have to be monthly, and each amount is up to you. Payment plans cost nothing extra.
  • The fursuit will only be shipped or handed over once the full payment is received.

  • You can cancel at any time, but the 30% deposit is nonrefundable (it covers planning, communication and reserving your slot).
  • If you cancel under 70% complete, you get back what you paid minus the deposit and the cost of work and materials already done.
  • Once a fursuit is 70 to 100% complete, no refunds are given.
  • If we ever cancel on our side, you receive a 100% refund of everything paid, including the deposit.
  • The full cancellation policy is in our Terms of Service.

  • Before any fur is sewn, we go over the pattern and approve it together.
  • Up to that point, changes are free. After that, they are still possible, but you cover the additional materials and labor.
  • There is no time limit, so take the time you need.
  • A significant species change (for example wolf to Protogen) counts as a completely new fursuit.

  • Yes, you get regular WIP photos and updates after every major stage, on your preferred channel.
  • You can also follow your commission through our public Trello queue at any time.

  • If you do not respond for 3 or more months after our reminders, your commission may be paused or moved to the end of the queue.
  • Just tell us you need time and we will work it out together.

  • We may use photos of finished work for our portfolio, website and social media, and you can share yours freely.
  • Secret commission? It still appears on our public Trello, listed under a social media account you choose.
  • We always take and store photos of every fursuit, and they double as proof of completion.

  • No. We only work with original designs, and we do not copy copyrighted or existing characters.
  • We can design an original character for you instead.

  • We do not make copies of other makers' fursuits, closed species you don't own a design slot for, NSFW or politically motivated fursuits, magnetic feetpaw soles, LED tails and other unsafe electronics buried in fur.
  • What you do with your fursuit afterwards is your business, but please do not tag us in NSFW content.

  • Yes, if our schedule allows it. A rush fee of 10 to 100% of the price can be arranged, based on how tight the deadline is, and your commission moves up the queue.
  • The deadline has to be realistic. We will not take a date too close to finish your fursuit properly, so quality is never rushed.
  • Planning a con debut? Tell us the date in your first message and we will say honestly whether it is doable.

Fursuits, parts & materials

  • Head: just the head.
  • Head + Handpaws: head and handpaws.
  • Mini partial: head, handpaws and tail.
  • Half partial: head, handpaws, tail and armsleeves.
  • Partial: head, handpaws, tail and feetpaws.
  • Full partial: head, handpaws, tail, armsleeves and feetpaws.
  • Prices are calculated with 4 finger puffy handpaws, a medium tail and plantigrade feetpaws. Other paw styles, tail sizes and digitigrade feetpaws are possible and priced in your quote.
  • Each set is itemized in your quote, so you always see exactly what is included.

  • Not at the moment. We currently make Protogen and fursuit heads and partials, up to a full partial (head, handpaws, feetpaws, tail and armsleeves).
  • We do not take full bodysuits right now. If that changes, we will say so here.

  • Yes, we accept parts orders: tails, handpaws, armsleeves and feetpaws (plantigrade or digitigrade).
  • Every part and its starting price is on our fursuit parts page.
  • Extras like embroidered paw markings, squeakers in the paw pads or a hidden finger escape are available too.

  • Yes. We tell you the exact fur color and type used on your fursuit, so later parts can be matched.
  • If the manufacturer stops selling that fur, an exact match may no longer be possible.
  • Ordering everything at once is still the safest way to get a perfect match.

  • Yes, on request. We have worked with bases from DVC Creations, WMW66 and others.
  • Tell us which base you have in mind and we will confirm it in the quote.

  • Premium faux fur and minky, foam and durable fabrics from trusted suppliers.
  • Fursuit bases are 3D printed (PETG, PLA+ or TPU) or resin; Protogen bases are 3D printed PETG with PETG-CF visor mounts. The Protogen electronics are our own custom LED panels and PCBs.

  • No. We use only synthetic faux fur and minky.
  • All materials come from trusted suppliers.

  • Yes, that is possible. If you have a specific fur or material you want used, let us know and we will work it out with you.

  • Before we start, we will need your measurements, taken with the guide we send you.
  • For feetpaws, we just need your foot size.
  • Toony and semirealistic heads use adjustable straps with a locking mechanism, and Protogen heads use magnetic adjustable padding.
  • Please measure carefully. Sizing from incorrect measurements is not covered by the legal guarantee.

  • We do our best to fit your glasses. We wear medium frames ourselves, so we can test the fit with them while sizing your head.
  • Small and medium frames give the most comfortable fit. We cannot guarantee very large frames, so contact lenses are best if you can wear them.

Protogens & electronics

  • A Protogen is an open furry species created by the artist Malice Risu in 2017: a cyber organic character, part animal and part machine.

  • Our standard Protogen is the Protogen M16 mk3.
  • For a price on request, we can also make the mk2, mk5 and other Protogen models whose license permits commissions, not just private use.
  • These are publicly available M16 Studio bases, heavily modified and reworked by us for better fitment and ventilation.

  • A Protogen head includes our own firmware, a dimmable LED face, an internal HUD display, two quiet variable speed Noctua fans, a magnetic neck, adjustable magnetic padding, a removable visor and a programmable NFC tag you can set to any link. You control it with a wireless remote controller.
  • Optional extras are available too. See the full list on our Protogen page.

  • Every Protogen head has a small internal OLED HUD inside that shows you everything important.
  • It shows: the controller's battery level and connection status, your current emotion, and the full emotion library to switch between.
  • In the settings menu you can adjust: brightness for the face, cheeks and OLED, the fan speed, and the boop sensor, voice reactive mouth and tilt sensor, on or off and each with its own settings.

  • Every Protogen comes with a wireless controller, designed to fit in your paws.
  • It runs on its own battery, charges over USB-C, and lasts up to a month of fursuiting per charge, with a range of up to 100 meters.
  • On flights, the controller needs to go in hand luggage only, not checked baggage.

  • Yes. A Protogen runs from a USB power bank that sits in a pocket inside the head. Standard Protogens use 5V, newer ones 12V or 20V.
  • The power bank is not included. We tell you exactly which one to buy.
  • A 10,000 to 30,000 mAh power bank lasts up to 72 hours on one charge.

  • Yes. The Protogen can be phone app controlled: you switch faces from an app or with a wireless remote controller.
  • Optional extras make it interactive, like a boop sensor that reacts to a nose touch, a voice reactive mouth and a tilt sensor. See our Protogen page for the full list.

  • Yes. A Protogen head includes 4 custom emotions, with no limit on how many you can have. You can choose from the ones we have already made, or we make any custom emotion you want, because the firmware is ours.
  • More extras like boot up and idle animations, a sound reactive visor mode and a tilt sensor are available too. See the full list on our Protogen page.
  • Tell us your ideas when ordering and we will include them in the quote.

  • Yes. Because we write our own firmware, your Protogen can be upgraded over time.
  • We will let you know which upgrades are possible for your specific Protogen head version, so you can add to it later.

  • The visor is water dyed and works like sunglasses: daytime visibility is excellent.
  • In dark venues your vision dims slightly, just like sunglasses at night.
  • It fogs only minimally, and not at all with proper care. Two fans plus passive ventilation keep the visor clear.

  • Most LED visors flicker or show scan lines on camera. Ours has a photo mode in the settings that removes the flicker.
  • Switch it on and your photos and videos come out clean and smooth.

  • Yes. We make a DIY parts kit, an electronics and base kit, and a completed head ready to fur. If you want something else, we are open to it.
  • Tell us which Protogen model you want and we will confirm the price. We can make a kit for any Protogen model whose license allows it.

  • Yes. 3D printed bases (Skulldog, Sergal, Canine, Feline, etc.) with optional opening jaw, multicolor printing and custom sizes, printed in PETG, PLA+ or TPU.
  • Printed accessories too: horns, claws, teeth, badges, fursuit eyes, jaws, etc.
  • Replacement or fully custom visors are available. See prices on our 3D bases page.

Care & wearing

  • Small stains: gentle wet wipes. Keep the Protogen electronics dry, and always power it off before cleaning.
  • Freshen after each wear, with a fabric safe spray or our fursuit spray.
  • The full step by step guide is in our care guide.

  • You do not need to remove the visor. Clean it with eyeglass or lens cleaner only. Full care steps are in our care guide.
  • Never let moisture reach the electronics, and do not rub the LEDs or electronics.

  • Somewhere dry. Damp storage damages the fursuit and is not covered by the legal guarantee.
  • Brush the fur with a slicker brush before putting it away, and freshen after each wear so it goes into storage clean.

  • Alcohol based sprays that freshen and are gentle on faux fur.
  • Scents range from fruity (Strawberry, Mango) through citrus and gourmand (Vanilla, Coffee) to herbal (Lavender, Mint) and seasonal (Gingerbread, Mulled Wine). Custom mixes on request.

  • Every fursuit gets hot. Take regular breaks, hydrate and listen to your body.
  • Protogen heads have two quiet variable speed Noctua fans plus passive cooling for airflow.
  • Fursuits are not designed for sports, extreme weather or long continuous wear.

  • No. The electronics have no water resistance, so keep your Protogen out of rain, snow and splashes. Moisture damage is not covered.
  • After a sweaty wear, let the head and electronics dry fully before you store it.

  • All materials are new and synthetic (faux fur, minky, foam).
  • Our workshop is smoke free and pet free.
  • We cannot take responsibility for allergic reactions, so tell us about any specific allergies before ordering and we will go through the materials with you.

Shipping, repairs & warranty

  • Yes, we ship worldwide. Every package is sent tracked and insured.

  • Roughly €20 to €60 within the EU and €60 to €120 worldwide.
  • The exact cost is confirmed in your free quote, since it depends on the parcel size and destination.
  • DHL Express is available for faster delivery, at a higher cost than standard shipping.

  • Customs and import fees are paid by the client. We try to minimize them where we can.
  • We ship from the Czech Republic, so orders inside the EU have no customs fees at all.
  • Repair packages sent back to us must be marked REPAIR AND RETURN, otherwise customs fees fall to the client.

  • Yes, personal handover can be arranged. We are based in Kadaň, Czech Republic.
  • Please inspect your fursuit at pickup. After handover, complaints about condition or appearance cannot be accepted.

  • We do not currently attend conventions, so there is no con try on or con pickup.
  • You do not need a try on: every head is sized from your own measurements and is adjustable.

  • Yes. We repair production defects under your 2 year legal guarantee (EU). Wear, accidents and incorrect care are repaired for a fee, and we can still repair your suit even after the guarantee period ends.
  • Damaged Protogen electronics can be removed and sent back on their own.
  • Please send the fursuit clean. Dirty fursuits may be returned or charged a cleaning fee, and extremely dirty ones can be refused.
  • Mark the package REPAIR AND RETURN so customs fees do not fall on you.

  • By law you get a 2 year legal guarantee (EU) on production defects: faults that were present when the fursuit was made. We repair those free.
  • Not covered: normal wear and tear, damage from use, rough handling, incorrect care (machine washing heads, heat, damp storage), accidents, and third party modifications. These are at your cost.
